Oxford Finance Limited is an approved institution under the New Zealand deposit guarantee scheme until 12 October 2010.  Oxford Finance has decided not to apply for the extension to the Government Guarantee.

Under the scheme, announced on 12 October 2008, the Crown guarantees people who have deposits with approved institutions in the scheme. It only covers deposits and other debt securities. There is a deposit coverage cap of $1 million per depositor, per covered institution.
